It’s almost time to get your spring cool season vegetables planted, and I’ll have a nice selection of starts available beginning the first week of April.
Here are the organic seed start varieties I’ll have:
- lettuces
- kales
- Japanese mustards
- spinach
- arugula
- broccoli
- cauliflower
- cabbages
- mustard
- bok choy
- sugar snap peas
- bunching onions
- selected herbs
- selected flowers
You can get your starts two ways:
- Stop by the Bakersville Farmers Market on Saturday mornings, beginning April 6.
- Drive by our homestead and stop at my self service roadside stand, starting April 16, 8 AM to 7 PM. In a hurry? It’s self service. Just drop your cash or check in the Honesty Box.
Later in the season I’ll have starts for tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, squash, beans and melons.
