2023 Homestead Events

We have so many fun events planned for this year and I can’t wait to begin! In fact, the weather may not be perfect for our first event but that’s not really a problem. Here’s why –

Our first event will be Saturday, April 15th from 3:00 to 6:00. We’re hosting our first Homestead Help & Feast Day and we’ll stay warm by working! Come play in the garden areas to help us weed and feed and generally make things look great and we’ll finish a few hours of work with a delightful feast served under the pergola.

Most of you are familiar with our food offerings so we’ll start with a delicious bowl of Mushroom & Wild Rice Soup followed by Chicken Cacciatore and one of our Rustic Boules with Cashew Butter.

All skill levels are welcome – I can teach anyone how to weed or water plants and, for those willing to tackle the project, we’ll be building a small English Dead Hedge at the back of the property. This event is posted on The Little Half Acre website so please book a space.

Notes
Sorry, no children. Our homestead is on an incline and may involve uneven ground, so wear sensible shoes! The projects of the day will require the usual gardening abilities of bending, reaching and lifting light loads.

Register Now. See you on Saturday, April 15!

Rain date is the following day Sunday, April 16.
