Jackie Wall from The Little Half Acre presents “Food Resilience on a Small Holding” A certified Master Gardener who has gardened in four states and three growing zones, she also teaches gardening and permaculture classes at local colleges and community-sponsored events. No boring Power Point lectures here! This is an actual hands-on experience with a one hour “walk, talk and demonstration.”

Help yourself to our generous Taco Bar, beverages and dessert under the pergola. Lunch includes a “Lunch, Learn & Share” to share your own preps and experiences (if so inclined). We can all learn from each other!

Tawney Sankey from “The Sankeytuary”
An experienced homesteader who purchased a small holding and created a working homestead by herself. A single mother, author and psychologist, Tawney will share skills that have been used by business, leadership, psychology, and spiritual teachers for centuries on how to be more effective, decisive, clear, motivated, productive and prepared in the face of new endeavors, preparing for the unknown, and in crisis situations.

Larry Wall from The Little Half Acre
A former Military Intelligence (Counterintelligence, Special Forces) Warrant Officer and with 20 years experience in nationwide security and private investigations, Larry will speak on homestead security and personal protection. You’ll also get a free download of our PDF book, “Survival On a Small Homestead,” which contains a detailed 20-page section on security and personal protection that Larry wrote.

Important Notes

• Rain or shine, we’ll be walking the homestead for that hands on experience. Bring your umbrella!
• No refunds available. If weather gets iffy we’ll meet indoors in my shed/grow room.
• Our homestead is on a somewhat rocky slope. So sorry, no children under 12. And sensible shoes are a must!
